Planning Help for Haiti

Many APA members have work experience in recovery from natural disasters and may offer valuable assistance to communities in Haiti stricken by the January 12, 2010, earthquake. If you'd like to offer your services to the recovery effort, APA will help to match volunteers who have specific disaster recovery skills (including municipal operations training, local capacity building, grant writing, historic preservation, environmental cleanup, and facilitating public meetings) with situations where such expertise is needed. Assistance may or may not require a presence in Haiti.

APA is working with the United Nations, the U.S. State Department, and other planning organizations. Submission of your information includes consent to share this information as required.

Share your thoughts and your expertise below, and APA will contact you. Please also e-mail a full resume to getinvolved@planning.org.
