Plan4Health Touches Down in Phoenix

Interested in learning more about the intersection of planning and public health? Join APA in Phoenix for the 2016 National Planning Conference and attend one of the sessions highlighting Plan4Health. Explore the Saturday Deep Dive workshop or check out a session discussion.

An initiative of APA’s Planning and Community Health Center, Plan4Health supports creative partnerships to build sustainable, cross-sector coalitions in 35 communities across the county. The coalitions are funded by the CDC and anchored by APA Chapters and American Public Health Association Affiliates. Each community is implementing policy, systems, and environment changes to increase access to nutritious food and opportunities for physical activity.

Attend a Plan4Health session to hear directly from coalition representatives about their experiences, lessons learned, initial outcomes, and immediate impact of the funding opportunity.

Overall the conference offers 79 educational events that will touch upon or be fully focused on health and planning. View the offerings
