RWJF Culture of Health Prize Call for Applications

Applications are now being accepted through November 3, 2016 for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation 2017 Culture of Health Prize. This annual prize recognizes and celebrates communities that are bringing partners together to improve health for all residents. Up to 10 communities can each receive a $25,000 cash prize.

This prize celebrates communities’ successes — what they already have achieved. Community partners can decide together how to use the funds to benefit the community.

The application criteria include:

  • Defining health in the broadest possible terms.
  • Committing to sustainable systems changes and policy-oriented long-term solutions.
  • Cultivating a shared and deeply-held belief in the importance of equal opportunity for health.
  • Harnessing the collective power of leaders, partners, and community members.
  • Securing and making the most of available resources.
  • Measuring and sharing progress and results.

Read RWJF’s FAQs about the prize and learn more about the application process. Questions should be directly to Carrie Carroll, Deputy Director, RWJF Culture of Health Prize.
