The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) is currently accepting presentation submissions for the 2017 Annual Meeting and Expo, October 20-23, 2017 in Los Angeles. The deadline for submissions is February 1, 2017.
Landscape architecture professionals who wish to present at the meeting must be active members of ASLA. Allied professionals are encouraged to submit presentations but are not required to be members.
In order to be considered, each presentation must include a session title, speaker bios, a marketing statement, learning objectives, an outline and sources. Submissions should also address panel diversity and audience engagement. All presenters must sign a speaker agreement prior to the Feb. 1 deadline.
Education session presenters who are selected will receive full complimentary registration to the event and may be eligible for reimbursement for one night’s hotel stay.
More than 130 education sessions and field sessions will be presented during the ASLA Annual Meeting and Expo. Attendees can earn up to 21 professional development hours under the Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System. In addition, many of the sessions may qualify for continuing education credit.
