APA welcomes two new staff members and recognizes a well-deserved staff promotion.

    Kerry Lennon

    APA welcomes Kerry Lennon to the new position of Business Analyst in the Chicago office. Kerry will take the lead in guiding, analyzing, and documenting the goals of APA’s technical projects. She will facilitate communication among stakeholders, subject experts, and the IT and Web Development teams. Kerry earned a BA in history from DePaul University and previously worked with Aptify and Abila as a business analyst, helping associations implement new management systems. At the Association for Corporate Growth, she was Senior Manager of Chapter Services. Kerry’s skills include vendor management and staff visualization and training.

  • State Government Affairs Associate

    Catherine Hinshaw

    As a member of APA’s policy and advocacy team, Catherine will lead state-level policy development and issue advocacy efforts. She will identify and analyze planning-related issues and trends at the state and local levels, support issue campaigns, aid APA chapters and divisions working on advocacy, cultivate policy partnerships, and develop critical content and products related to state-level planning policies. Prior to joining APA, Catherine worked as a policy and communications associate at the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda in Washington, where she was responsible for tracking legislation and policy trends that affected the organization’s policy priorities. Catherine graduated from Furman University and is based in APA’s Washington office. Welcome to APA!

  • Project and QA Manager for Software and Data

    Andy Krakos

    Since joining APA in 2012, Andy has led our testing and quality assurance processes with insight and attention to detail. Recently, he has taken on management responsibilities as well. Andy brings care and hyper-organization to his new role as manager of APA's web, app, and data projects. He is an integral part of our IT Department’s software development and data team. Congratulations, Andy!
