The Institute for Public Administration (IPA) addresses the policy, planning, and management needs of its partners through the integration of applied research, professional development, and the education of tomorrow’s leaders. IPA offers professional development courses on a range of planning, economic development, and public management topics through its Economic Development Leadership Resource Network, Planning Education Program, and Academy for Excellence in Local Government Leadership. Established in 1973, IPA is a center within the University of Delaware's College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Public Policy & Administration.
