My city is about 200 miles from Dallas and so I especially enjoyed and learned form Kennedy's presentation and the approach he used. The other speaker was also good, I just got more form Kennedy.

Great insight into different ways to bring placemaking into a community. One quote that stuck was that we "should zone for what we want, not what we don't want" in a community. Approaching zoning in this way is much more positive than restricting uses as is typically done.
