Rail~Volution 2013

Seattle, WA

Rail~Volution is a conference of passionate people who want to engage in thoughtful discussion about building livable communities with transit. We are citizen activists, developers, business leaders, planners, local elected officials, transit operators, government officials and more.

We come together each year from more than 300 communities, towns and regions of all sizes and shapes, to share ideas and breakthroughs, frustrations and inspiration. In this learning lab, you'll hear concrete examples that illustrate the rediscovery of community that is sweeping the country. You'll have a chance to ask hard questions and explore cutting edge ideas in more than 80 workshops, networking events, toolbox sessions and our signature mobile workshops.

Whether an established expert or a new professional, attend Rail~Volution if you're ready to be transformed: Jumpstart your project with fresh ideas for both public and private sectors. Engage your community with useful tools for advocates and elected officials. Expand your horizons by meeting new clients. Shape the future with new contacts, skills, perspectives and concepts. You'll come away with knowledge, direction and a renewed passion for creating vibrant, sustainable, livable places.
