MORE SESSION DETAILS
Take a 12.2-mile bicycle ride along the Covington Tammany Trace. Start at the trailhead, where you'll learn about Covington’s Historic District, then bike to the Abita Springs trailhead, where you will discuss the parish’s first roundabout. Next ride to the Koop Drive trailhead, where you'll break for lunch and learn about development of a children’s museum. The final leg takes you to the Mandeville trailhead and a walking tour of Mandeville’s Historic District that ends on a lakefront to highlight the challenges of balancing flood mitigation with historic preservation.
