MORE SESSION DETAILS

While New Orleans has always been a city of public art—from sculptures and murals to entertaining graffiti, street performers, and strange characters—in the last decade, the city has seen a proliferation of works by famous and soon-to-be famous artists. Tour iconic New Orleans neighborhoods and visit a wide variety of art installations and programmatic sites along major corridors and public spaces, including privately maintained artwork. This mobile workshop includes stops at the former locations of removed Confederate-era monuments, as well as a discussion of the monument-removal process and future site plans.
