MORE SESSION DETAILS

The Planning Leadership Institute (PLI) provides planning professionals with a full day of intensive training and professional reflection. PLI is designed to provide the skillsets and mindsets needed for planning professionals to exercise leadership, influence stakeholders, face challenges, and shape a legacy in your community. It is a once-a-year opportunity to connect with a select group of your peers for a dynamic, interactive, creative workshop-style training program developed by APA in collaboration with seasoned directors from around the country. Through a blend of theory, practice, and application, you will understand the difference between authority & leadership, learn skills, tools, and tactics for leading change in your community, and learn how to expand your influence. Participants will leave with a work plan for leading change in their communities. Sponsored by the City Planning and Management Division.
