Parking Management System

Tahoe Transportation District

Stateline, NV

The Tahoe Transportation District (TTD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to assist in developing an innovative and adaptable parking management system for the State Route 28 (SR 28) Corridor in the Lake Tahoe Basin.

TTD recently received a federal grant through the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Value Parking Pricing Pilot Program (VPPP) to launch a pilot program parking management system for the SR 28 Corridor. The parking management system will be designed to meet the needs of the entire SR 28 Corridor, but will initially be implemented in a pilot project consisting of the approximately 100 parking spaces at the trailhead near the SR 28/Lakeshore Boulevard intersection. In the future, it is anticipated that the system would be implemented to serve additional parking areas along the 11 mile shoreline and, potentially, the entire Tahoe basin.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on March 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at TTD's office at Stateline, Nevada. Interested firms may join by conference call.

Proposals must be submitted on or before March 24, 2017 to be considered responsive.
