CITY OF CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR CONSULTING SERVICES FOR A NEW MIXED-USE ZONING CODE

The City of Crestview Hills, Kentucky located in Northern Kentucky and within the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area, seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide consulting services to comprehensively update the City's Zoning Code with a new Mixed-Use Zone.

The City of Crestview Hills desires to develop a mixed-use code that relies heavily on development form and function, and less on traditional Euclidian systems of setbacks and lists of acceptable uses. Architecture and the development's 'presence' in the community will be of foremost concern, better reflecting the community's identity. The mixed-use zone is intended to be an activity hub for the community, and public spaces, public art, and easy pedestrian integration will be key to the new zoning regulations for the identified properties.

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received before 2:00 p.m. EST on Friday, May 5th, 2017 at the Office of the City Clerk, in the City Building, 50 Town Center Blvd., Crestview Hills, KY 41017. The deadline for questions regarding the RFP is Thursday, April 18th, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. EST. Submit proposals in a sealed envelope addressed exactly as stated: Sealed Proposal - Consulting Services for New Mixed-Use Zone, Office of the City Clerk - City Building, 50 Town Center Blvd., Crestview Hills, KY 41017. Please submit via US Mail, Overnight Delivery or In Person. Electronic and fax proposals are not acceptable. The City is not responsible for delays by the U.S. Postal Service or any other means of delivery employed by the Proposer. The City will not open any proposals that are received on or after the time stated above. Late submittals will be retained in the RFP file, unopened.

Proposals will be publicly opened on Friday, May 5th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. EST (our clock) in the City Building, 50 Town Center Blvd., Crestview Hills, KY 41017. Only the names of companies who submitted proposals will be revealed. The main purpose of this opening is to reveal the name(s) of the Proposer(s), not to serve as a forum for determining awarded proposal(s). The City's Mixed-Use Steering Committee will review the proposals and selected firm(s) may be invited to make presentations to the Committee.

The City of Crestview Hills reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any proposal that may deem to be in the best interest of the City.
