The City of Green Bay is soliciting proposals from highly qualified planning and urban design firms to assist with the update of its 1997 Downtown Design Plan.
The scope of this downtown planning process will generally include visioning, land use, redevelopment, transportation, and implementation planning. To a lesser extent, urban design and market analysis will be required. The timeline for the project is six months from initiation, but a strong base of meaningful public participation is also expected. The City of Green Bay has a complete Planning and Economic Development staff team that will contribute to this planning project. Preference will be given to Consultants whose approach and scope involve City staff in meaningful ways to help develop plan content and to focus the use of Consultant services on value-adding project contributions.
The City’s primary needs for Consultant support in this project include graphics and map development, plan writing, document production, and production of support material for community participation in both digital and in-person venues.
