SLOCOG is seeking proposals for the Chorro Valley Trail Feasibility Study, Constraints Analysis, and Implementation Plan. The study area covers approximately 12 miles, between the Cities of Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo, connecting with both California Polytechnic State University and Cuesta College. The study area is along the Route 1: SLO North Coast Scenic Byway, and is funded in part with a Federal Scenic Byway Program grant. Proposals are due April 19th at 3 pm.

Proposals should include:
1. Transmittal letter
2. Team’s qualifications
3. Technical scope-of-work
4. Team composition with an organizational chart;
5. Project schedule
6. Professional references
7. Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) status
8. Project budget (separate sealed envelope)

Consultant firm/team shall complete the following tasks (consultant may modify order of tasks with justification), project completion date should be June 2014 (see full RFP for details):

1. Goals and Objectives for the Plan
2. Design Guidelines/Operations
3. Existing Conditions Report
4. Opportunities and Constraints Analysis
5. Proposed Trail Alignments
6. Financial Feasibility and Implementation Plan
7. Public Engagement
8. Project Management
