Bike Share Study

Lane Transit District (LTD) and the City of Eugene request proposals from qualified firms to analyze the feasibility of bike share in Eugene, Oregon. The purpose of the City of Eugene Bike Share Feasibility Study is to determine an appropriate scale and operational model to implement an effective bicycle sharing system serving the Eugene area. The Study will result in a system map for station placement and a list of possible sponsors and sponsorship models to support the system. Sealed proposals will be received until 11:00 a.m., PDT, on September 18, 2013, at the office of Lane Transit District, 3500 East 17th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon, or mailed to Lane Transit District, P.O. Box 7070, Springfield, Oregon 97475-0470.
Proposers must state whether or not they are a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279.029, and must also state that the bidder will comply with all applicable state and federal laws when carrying out the contract. This project is partially funded by the Federal Transit Administration. All bidders must be "Equal Opportunity Employers" and comply with the appropriate provisions of state and federal law. In regards to Workers’ Compensation, all bidders shall be required to comply with ORS 656.017 or are exempt under ORS 656.126.
