The Long Beach Public Transportation Company (LBPTC) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of all labor, materials and management necessary to conduct a Regional Transit Center Feasibility Study.

A pre-proposal meeting to clarify any contractual or technical issues of the RFP will be held on November 21, 2013 at 10:00 am PST, at the LBPTC facility referenced above. Attendance is not necessary in order to submit a proposal.

All proposals must be submitted in strict compliance with the Proposal Instructions as prescribed in the RFP, and must be received at LBPTC’s reception lobby no later than 2:00 pm PST, on or before January 17, 2014.

LBPTC hereby notifies potential proposers that all firms will be afforded equal opportunity to submit proposals in response to this request and will not be discriminated against in consideration for award on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, creed, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local laws.

No contract will be awarded to a Proposer who has not been licensed as applicable. The successful proposer and any (applicable) subcontractor(s) are required to determine if a business license from the City of Long Beach, California is required for the work to be performed.

All proposers must be compliant with applicable requirements relating to minimum wage, Workers Compensation and conditions of employment.
