New City Master Plan
City of Douglas

The City of Douglas, Wyoming is soliciting proposals for professional services to assist the Governing Body in updating its 1997 Master Plan.
The most recent Master Plan for the City of Douglas was updated in 1997. The goal of this process will be to develop a Matsen Plan for the City of Douglas with a time horizon of 20 years.
The updated plan will serve as a guide in considering policy decisions, land use planning, budget preparation and capital improvement planning for the future of the City of Douglas. The plan should also incorporate economic development, transportation, sustainability strategies, and potential implementation steps including responsible parties and potential funding sources and general amounts. The planning process should include a robust citizen participation process to insure the plan reflects the values and aspirations of the citizens. This plan should build on previous plans, as well as determine new directions.
It is anticipated that work will begin during the spring of 2013 and that the finished product will be ready for adoption by the City Council in the fall of 2013. A written outline with a fixed fee amount for required planning tasks must be received by the City of Douglas, Attention: Karen Rimmer, 101 North 4th Street, P.O.
