Overview

Campus planning is increasingly reliant on the optimization of outdoor space. This session expands upon a campus roundtable held at Arizona State University with multiple practitioners and examines how the campus landscape is evolving to address very specific goals of the campus master plan. Learning Objectives - Understand how landscape architects are envisioning physical campus growth and applying learning technologies to future planning. - See how sustainability and preservation have been executed in campus design. - Hear how collaborative learning has been driven by design, creating flexible spaces that encourage student and faculty interaction. - See examples of built campus projects examining these issues.
