The Airport Layout Plan (ALP) is a set of drawings used to graphically depict current and future airport facilities. Standards for ALPs can be found in the FAA’s Airports Advisory Circular library.  The term Airport Layout Plan typically refers to a single document or drawing covering the entire airport as well as a supporting number of documents that includes facility layout plans, airspace drawings, etc.

This session will feature an update on the ALP standards and guidance as well as an overview of the effects that the Airports GIS program is having on the ALP which includes the development of an ALP tool.
