The Mayor’s training and professional background also formed the basis for his policy goals as a city executive, including his second-term “2016 Livability Agenda” which leans heavily on deliberate planning strategies to reach multi-faceted goals including improving mobility options, creating walkable neighborhoods, cultivating economic vibrancy and working toward energy independence.
