The Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) Village Planning and Development (VP&D) program recently enhanced their programs ability to provide technical and planning assistance to the Tanana Chiefs Conference Region through the addition of a Grants Manager, Rural and Economic Development Specialist, and Community Planning Coordinator. The VP&D Program provides funding and technical assistance to tribal councils in hiring temporary village-based Community Planning and Grant Development Specialists. VP&D is currently working on a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the TCC region which will allow the TCC region communities to come together and help promote stronger economic resilience.
