Course Description: The nuts and bolts of how the cities of Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria and the County of Santa Barbara regulate development via an overview of all of their major planning documents. This session will feature15-20 minutes on each jurisdiction’s general plans and zoning codes (and updates).
The Takeaway: Students will know how to navigate each zoning code and general plan to find development standards and their road map to how their City’s might look differently in the future.
