Overview

In 2014, the City of Philadelphia's embarked on the adaptive reuse of the historic Provident Life Mutual Insurance Building to house the Public Safety Services Campus. This case study features challenges and solutions in meeting the complexities of the contemporary program, life safety regulations for an essential facility, and LEED Silver requirements without destroying its historic characteristics.
