Overview

In June 2016, faculty and students from the University of Oklahoma traveled to Northern Uganda for a service learning project surrounding water use issues. The project was interdisciplinary in nature with planning, architecture, and engineering students collaborating with local communities to better understand local water systems and opportunities to improve local quality of life. This presentation by planning and architecture students will introduce the community-based methods used during the project as well as discuss identified issues, findings, and recommended solutions for addressing the water concerns in Northern Ugandan communities.
