This session will detail the decision in Reed v. Town of Gilbert regarding local sign regulation.  The presentation will focus on the meaning of content neutrality and provide some examples of codes that meet and/or fail to meet these requirements.  The presenter will work with participants to draft content neutral local sign regulations.  Upon conclusion, a discussion will commence about unresolved issues in this field of the law.
