Overview

Most cities have included strategic initiatives, policies and goals in their plans that are tied to improving financial productivity of sites, environmental resilience, community health and other sustainability metrics. Yet, few capital improvement programs and prioritization processes are directly tied to these metrics. This session will outline the concept of Sustainable Return on Investment (SROI), and use case studies from Fort Worth, Dallas and several other communities to demonstrate how the web-based software AutoCASE can be used to make this important connection for prioritization of projects and evaluation of design alternatives for larger infrastructure projects.
