Description: This 7-mile bicycle ride will lead participants through completed and planned sections of the Lawrence Loop, a shared use path that is part of the Countywide Bikeway Plan.  This plan included a connected bikeway loop around the City of Lawrence. Each segment of the trail has been uniquely funded. This tour will explore planned and unplanned sections of the trail including:  Outside for a Better Inside Trail, Burcham Park Trail, and Burroughs Creek Trail as well as a segment that has not yet been funded. The tour will also feature stops to show the recently installed Bicycle Corrals, bicycle repair stands and tour the Lawrence Unchained Bicycle Coop and discuss how these elements are supporting the overall bicycle culture.
