Overview

Come learn about new techniques and concepts used for the neighborhood plan for Auke Bay, Juneau, titled 'Auke Bay Area Plan'. The Auke Bay neighborhood wanted more for their area, slower traffic, better pedestrian connections, and a greater emphasis on a town center. Although different than downtown Juneau, this town center builds on existing public amenities and a busy harbor. New zoning and design standards will give a boost to residential and commercial opportunities. Come learn new tools that might help your community. Attendees may receive yummy treats, too.
