Muldoon Town Square Park is a newly dedicated Community Use Park located in diverse East Anchorage. The Park includes 27 acres of natural and previously developed areas, with features that include the South Fork of Chester Creek, outstanding views of the Chugach Mountains, and upland forests and open meadows. Muldoon Town Square Park is a community gathering space that residents have passionately and tirelessly worked to preserve within the context of development pressures. The Master Plan is a 20 year vision for the park, created by residents with help from the Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department and planning and design consultants, Bettisworth North and R&M Consultants to transform the old Greenhouse property to a community space that embodies the potential of what residents have wanted for Muldoon: a destination and escape from the everyday urbanism of a modern, last-frontier city.
