Overview

For this second meeting of the APA Los Angeles Leadership Program, participants will listen to a presentation from Simon Ha, Principal of Steinberg Architects. Participants will explore issues such as what influencers do before they influence, how to choose the best influencing methods for the situation, and how to make your influence welcomed and wanted.

During the second half of the meeting, participants will be lead through an exercise designed to make them think about the ways in which you influence other people, the tactics they employ and the importance of being effective. The key requirement is to think about your own approach in influencing other people – how the material relates to your local situation, the people you serve and the agency you represent.
