Overview

For this third meeting of the APA Los Angeles Leadership Program, participants will listen to a presentation from Carol Barrett, FAICP. Participants will explore how to prepare for a successful negotiation, how to negotiate, understanding others, and making commitments.

During the second half of the meeting, participants will be lead through an exercise designed to negotaite and manage conflict through strategy, asking diagnostic questions, understanding contentious tactics, framing, anchoring, and handling a lack of cooperation.
