This session will provide information concerning the future climate and what types of weather events planners should be preparing for now.  It will be focused on the climate of the southeastern United States and include projections for extreme weather, temperature and precipitaiton.

Timothy W. Owen is Chief of the Information Services Division at NOAA’s NCEI Center for Weather and Climate. Mr. Owen was trained as a planner and holds a Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina. He subsequently pursued climatology as a profession. Read More
