As the current comprehensive plan for Louisville Metro, Cornerstone 2020, approaches its horizon, an updated comprehensive plan is being prepared to guide actions beyond 2020. The updated plan, which will have a horizon of 2040, builds on Cornerstone 2020, but will also be informed by current technology and tools, as well as by demographic and economic projections and public input.  This session will provide information on the data being used to complete the comprehensive plan process.  Presentations will include a review of the comprehensive plan data requirements as necessitated by KRS Chapter 100, existing development trends in Jefferson County and the data collection process used to compile the trends, scenario planning, the opinion survey performed to collect citizen preferences for future public and private development, and the demographic and economic projections prepared for the comprehensive plan
