Overview

Placed-based revitalization capitalizes on a community's existing resources. Participants will review funding options, perceived hurdles, and best practices for bringing place-based revitalization strategies that focus on the role of historic downtown buildings in creating vibrant places to live, work and play. Participants will review resources available through the State of Indiana including the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority and the Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
