The program focuses on two elements of Smart Shore: resiliency planning and implementation.  The Smart Shore project enhances NRSW’s infrastructure resiliency through a combination of technological innovation, sustainability concepts, and self-sufficiency measures. Smart Shore provides NRSW with robust and flexible capability to absorb shocks and stresses to its buildings and infrastructure, while providing NRSW with the capacity to rebound from natural or manmade disasters, such as blackouts, terrorist attacks, or wildfires. The session will provide practical approaches for selecting smart buildings, developing a Smart Shore DD1391, identify cyber-security requirements, and outline expected investment costs and ROI.
