Overview

The state capitol restoration project is a 6-year, $245 million effort that will completely modernize the infrastructure of Oklahoma's historic capitol building. Built in 1917, the capitol has never undergone a comprehensive restoration. During the tour, participants will access the construction areas on the interior and exterior to get a first-hand look at the work in progress. Tour guides will include representatives from project managers at Oklahoma Department of Management and Enterprise Services, as well as contrators from Manhattan and JE Dunn Construction.
