The road to successful historic preservation  and adaptive reuse projects is typcially loaded with a variety of technical challenges, beginning with environmental hazards leftover from previous uses. In addition, especially in Tax Credit Rehab projects, designers and contractors are faced with the need to recreate building techniques and technology that don't exist anymore. Two architects and the COKC Brownfield Coordinator describe their success and challenges in three case studies from OKC.
