Overview

Learning objectives for session:

1) Get an overview of the Baker-Polito Administration’s approach to smart growth issues and updates to the Administration’s housing and economic development initiatives.

2) Hear about the Administration’s new ideas on incorporating social and economic equity into housing and economic development.

3) Understand the differing scenarios faced in Massachusetts depending on the policy, planning, and design decisions we make now.

4) Review the national debate on the fiscal impact of smart growth development.

Followed by a discussion with the speakers hosted by Mary Skelton Roberts, Senior Program Officer, Barr Foundation
