Overview

Through an interactive presentation, participants will understand the barriers to inclusion and working across lines of difference. Participants will also better understand their own identities and the identities of others as well as an increased knowledge of unconscious bias in the workplace. Particular interest will be given to understanding best practices related to hiring a diverse workforce. Participants will leave with increased empathy, heightened awareness of the issues, and knowledge of specific de-biasing techniques; essential components to working successfully in increasingly diverse environments.
