Overview

Pinellas County is experiencing redevelopment in certain locations, but it's been uneven. Local governments are making efforts to direct desired redevelopment into places that have the most opportunity to create a sense of place and provide economic value for individual cities and the county as a whole. Target areas have been identified and additional steps taken to support private sector responses and leverage transportation investments to serve as a catalyst and reinforce desired changes. This session will explore how a redeveloping county is aligning plans, projects and strategies to better integrate land use and transportation in support of broad economic growth.
