Overview

This session focuses on the development of TOD zoning standards within Minnetonka, Hopkins, and Eden Prairie, located along the SWLRT Green Line Extension.  Eden Prairie has adopted TOD zoning standards; Hopkins and Minnetonka are working collaboratively to establish a joint powers agreement and zoning for the Shady Oak station area. This session will provide participants to exposure to skill building, problem solving, and interdisciplinary topics.   Speakers will share experiences regarding drafting of ordinances related to TOD development, adapting regulations to the built environment, engaging key stakeholders including elected officials and property owners and navigation of municipal partnerships.

Jason has served as the City Planner for the City of Hopkins since 2015. Prior to working for the City of Hopkins, Jason served as the City Planner for the communities of Anoka and Rosemount, as well as, a consultant planner for a variety of communities throughout Minnesota. Read More
