Overview

Tired of answering the same question at the counter or on the phone over and over? Have a web page that barely gets visited and programs no one knows about? This session will show you how to use technology to expand your reach, get valuable feedback and spend less time answering the same questions.

We will provide attendees with valuable and practical tools for getting their Planning Department (or Firm) on social media and expanding their web presence. Attendees will learn how to get folks to share/like your posts, what posts should look like, optimal posting frequencies, how to develop a social media posting standard and much more. We will also show you how to partner with other organizations to get more folks to view your traditional web pages. The City of Hutchinson went from less than 300 hits (per year) to more than 300 hits per week on our webpage and Facebook post reaches exceeding 500 people weekly. E-engagement is the wave of the future. Don't let it pass you by.
