Overview

 

Kansas City, Kansas is creating a walkable, transit oriented district adjacent to the University of Kansas Medical Center called the University Town District.  Lenexa is creating a new walkable, transit friendly downtown with the Lenexa City Center project.  Learn about the successes and challenges of creating transit oriented development in both urban redevelopment and suburban greenfield settings.  Topics include urban design, zoning and development regulations, and transit operations.
