The Whitmore Project is a comprehensive plan to bring back farming on former O‘ahu agricultural lands and to revitalize the communities of Wahiawā and Whitmore.  The project is both lofty in its goals and tethered to practicality.  The State of Hawai‘i owns a significant amount of the land, and funds for additional parcels have been released by Governor David Ige. Senator Donavan Dela Cruz has organized numerous government agencies to "cluster" within the project so that important elements like loans for farmers, a shared processing and packing plant, and workforce housing, can be facilitated and co-located.  This mobile tour will help planners understand this ambitious community project.
