Each year, the Ethics Committee of the American Institute of Certified Planners prepares the "ethics case of the year" and makes it available to conduct chapter conference sessions eligible for 1.5 CM Ethics Credits.  The "case" is based on actual cases or issues of professional conduct that have been at issue over the previous year and which provide "lessons learned" for other planners on how to anticipate, prevent, or respond to potential violations of the AICP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
