Overview

The panel will feature Scorched Earth Brewing Company (based in Algonquin), Skeleton Key Brewing Company (based in Woodridge), and staff from each community.  The panel will cover (a) background and history of each brewery, (b) overview of local, state and federal regulations, (c) working through the permitting and opening of a brewery, (d) challenges after a business opens and (e) overview of how communities can be responsive to those looking to opening a brewery in a community.
