         ODOT Block Vanes: An Overview for Bridge and Hydraulic Engineers

         This presentation will discuss the use of block vanes for engineering applications including redirecting flow to restore

         channel alignments and maintain waterway openings, protecting piers and abutments from scour, and reducing debris

         and sediment accumulation at bridges.

         Floodplain Coordination for Big Darby Creek (National Scenic River)

         This presentation will provide an overview of the floodplain coordination and hydraulic modeling process for a proposed

         I-71 Bridge spanning Big Darby Creek, an Ohio and National Scenic River.

         FEMA Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Process

         This presentation will provide a review of FEMA's CLOMR submittal procedures, with information regarding when a

         CLOMR is required, how the need for a CLOMR can impact transportation projects, and techniques that can be used to

         streamline the CLOMR review process.
