Overview

Cities in California have faced economic disruption due to the great recession, expanding pensions, and the loss of redevelopment. Cities today must take unique approaches to leverage the partnerships and solutions that fit their political, economic, and physical environments. This panel will share approaches that work and what they’ve learned from their colleagues in other cities to move Active Transportation and healthy living in their city, as well as what it will take to sustain this progress during these uncertain economic times.
