Overview

The PlanFirst program recognizes and rewards governments for excellence in plan development and implementation, offering incentives to help communities with their comp plan implementation. Local practitioners will show how designation and the incentives have augmented their implementation efforts.

Monica Callahan is Planning & Development Director for the City of Madison, Georgia. She is a native Georgian, educated at Mercer University and the University of Georgia, and is past-president of GDA and GAPC. She is the Executive Director, Madison Downtown Development Authority; officer of the non-profit Downtown Design & Development, Inc., and board member of the Morgan Fund, Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta.
